Project:
NISD is building a data center and a secondary active site that will house all on premise digital operations. The facility will include the following:
Enhanced fire protection
Hardened facility for environmental safeguarding
Increased electrical backup, replacing 10+ year old generators and battery backup
Resilient secondary active data center
N+2 climate control and 24/7 monitoring
Located at Central District Campus near the Administration building and Steele AHS.
District Wide Back-up server with primary at central campus and secondary at Steele AHS.
Assists in preventing our district servers (Internet) to not fail when events happen and wont shut campus’ down completely.
Transition: Throughout 2021
Completion Date: Spring 2021
